Help Wanted

Why Volunteer?

For your children - BASIS Goodyear will only reach its full potential with the support of its parent community. We believe in the philosophy that "many hands make light work."

For yourself - Network and leverage the opportunity to build and expand on your skills, positively impacting your personal and professional growth.

Time - Join any one of our exciting committees or volunteer for a shift (valet duty, lunch duty, event set-up/strike, etc.).

Talent - Share your expertise and skill set (sewing, carpentry, graphic design, marketing/promotions, solicit sponsorships, etc.)

Treasures - From shopping at your favorite stores to tax deductible contributions (event sponsorship, donating supplies for the Lunch Program & Teachers' lounge, etc.) - every penny counts!

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available throughout the school year to accommodate your schedule and suit your skill set.

Look under "Help Wanted" to see the many volunteer opportunities available. NOTE: You do not have to be a member of the BGB to volunteer.

In order to make the BASIS Goodyear Boosters Lunch Program successful we need YOUR support!

We are asking every parent/guardian of a BASIS Goodyear student to please to volunteer for at least one lunch shift just to assist with distributing and serving lunches - at least one time during each semester. We need multiple volunteers for each day, but with over 500 parents/guardians and only 180 days of school, if every adult member of each BASIS household commits to just one shift - just one time per semester - we can be sure our kids receive their lunch orders quickly, allowing them ample time to eat, relax, and digest their food so they can properly nourish their brains and bodies. Plus, it's a great way to get on to an otherwise "closed campus!"

We are also requesting donations of the following lunchroom supplies. We need:

  • Clorox Wipes
  • Napkins
  • Plastic Utensils
  • Plastic Food Service Gloves (latex free)
  • Plastic Plates
